Love Poems

                                                           💔 I've been sitting here for hours, And not a word is written yet, Tears stream down my face in showers,   And the page is soaking wet, And each line I try to write down, I scribble out in regret, But I know it's over now. I wasn't brave enough to say it To your face when you were here, I had to wait until you went out,   Until I tried to disappear, And even this heartless coward, Sits here, choking back the tears, But I know it's over now. We've tried to rhyme, so many times The words fit fine, the melody's no good, If we're talking the same language, How come I never understood, never understood. Last year kisses, hugs and glances,   Current day tears, and final chances ... romance is dead Dismissive shrugs, don't really miss each other Pretend we still care, but no longer lovers ... Just friends instead. And as I walk out to the door, Past smiling photos from before,

In the night I met you, my heart stopped beating it froze with with desire, at what I was seeing. On this night for us that shouldn't have been, what lay ahead nobody could see. You alone started these flames of wanting desire, a million seas couldn't quench the fire. But love isn't always the easy friend, you have to sail the storm to receive the love you send. So till the day comes that these arms can hold you near, I'll sail the storms and watch as the clouds disappear .    

I love you more than life itself But I’m afraid to love. My heart is like the fragile wings Of a tiny little dove. I'm scared to get too close. I feel that I can't win. You'll love me for a little while Then you'll set me free again. I've lived so long on hopes and dreams I don't know what to do. I don't think I can trust my heart, For it belongs to you. I know you'll only hurt me Yet, I still keep running back. Between the paths of our hearts There's a worn and beaten track. You've got my heart held on a string. It’s breaking right in two. Enough belongs to me -to hurt- The rest belongs to you. I know that somewhere in your heart There is a place for me. I just don't know how to find it And there's no way to make you see. I can only hope that someday You'll wake up and you'll find, That while my heart belongs to yours, Yours, too, belongs to mine.                                                       >&

 Someday you'll miss me like I missed you, Someday you'll cry For me like I cried for you, Someday you'll want me back like I        Wanted you, Someday you'll understand why you broke my heart        When I didn't, someday you'll understand that I was the only   Girl that put up with all your mess, when your own family didn't Someday you'll know how pain feels how you hurt me        Someday your life will turn upside down, like mine did when you broke my heart        Someday you'll have someone hurt you like you hurt me Someday you'll realize how lonely life can be.   Someday you can sit down and think how much I meant to you        When you meant the world to me,        Someday you'll know how I really felt Someday you'll try to come back to me like I tried with you But someday you'll love me when I won't love you.

I don't think you will,    Ever fully understand    How you touched my life    And made me who I am. You are the keeper of my dreams    The one who holds my heart    The one I want to spend my life with.  The one I always stand.   Stand beside through thick and thin,    Through all that life throws our way Knowing that this special love we share    Will guide us each and everyday. I don't think you could ever feel    All the love I have to give And I'm sure you never realize    You've been my will to live.
